How To Convert Leads Into Customers!

Today, many network marketers are making the same mistake. They make the decision that they want to become network marketers. They choose a theme for their website, they design the site, add in their affiliate programs, and sit back and watch the traffic roll in. Unfortunately, however, the sales that the site generates are nowhere near their estimates and visitor to buyer conversion rates are minimal.
Hopefully, you're reading this article before you've gotten that far and won't have to spend a lot of time redoing your work, but the truth is, the process of converting a visitor to a buyer begins at the beginning and is difficult to add on at the end.
If you are one of those people, however, don't despair. You may be able to correct the problems with a few minor adjustments. The most important thing to remember when making the move into network marketing is why people are visiting a website in the first place.
If you're adding affiliate programs to an existing site, it's fairly simply to identify your audience. Let's take a look at an easy example. A website is created to market tours to a "supposed haunted house," the scene of a brutal mass murder in the early 1900's.
Publicity surrounding the house drives a fair amount of traffic to the site and frequent updates bring returning visitors back. A guestbook gives the webmaster a pretty good idea of who his visitors are and where their interests lie. Using this information, he's able to pick and choose affiliate programs in the paranormal/spiritual realm that would have an interest to his visitors.
Taking advantage of his mailing list, he's able to send out personal recommendations on the products he's featuring. Because he's in constant touch with his visitors, he can measure responses and make changes accordingly to maximize potential sales. Because they already know and trust him, his visitors are 3x as likely to make purchases.
This case, however, is a perfect utilization of the concept of affiliate programs and a constant stream of income was fairly easy to garner. With the realization that network marketing and affiliate programs can be very lucrative, however, more and more sites are being created for just that reason.
Setting up a site like this is much more difficult, however, because you not only have to create the site but you have to be able to identify the needs of would-be visitors.
The easiest way to do this is to use search engine marketing.
This is a technique guaranteed to bring highly qualified buyers to your site. It does, however, have to start at the beginning. With over 700 million people on the internet at any give time, your market is endless and even a niche product is bound to sell well if you can attract those buyers directly to your door instead of allowing them to go somewhere else.
Of those 700 million people using the Internet, every 4th person is buying something at this very moment. Those sales will result in purchases totally over a billion dollars a month. Search engine marketing allows you to stop searching for buyers and allows them to start searching for you. It can, be a difficult and time-consuming task.
There are many professional companies that offer these services; however, you'll have to be willing to invest some money to get their help. If you don't have the money to invest in having this professionally done, there are several good books on the market that can give you a few tips.
Remember, however, search engine marketing and search engine optimization are two different things.
